1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how 云启昶达(青岛)互联科技有限责任公司 (Yunqi Changda (Qingdao) Internet Technology Co., Ltd.), trading as Archeryline (“Archeryline”, “we”, “us”), handles personal information collected through archeryline.com. Archeryline is an online retailer that ships products from China to customers in Australia.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) when we collect personal information from individuals in Australia.

2. Information we collect

We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary to run the store:

  • Order information: your name, delivery address, billing address, email, phone number, order history and product preferences.
  • Payment information: handled by our payment provider on their secure infrastructure. We receive a transaction reference, the amount, and the success status. We do not see or store full credit-card numbers or CVVs.
  • Support correspondence: the content of emails, WhatsApp messages, contact-form submissions and any photos you send us.
  • Website usage: device type, browser, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, referrer URL and basic analytics events. Collected through cookies and similar technologies described in the Cookies section.
  • Marketing preferences: if you opt in, the email address and any preferences you set for our newsletter.

You do not need to create an account to buy from us.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process and fulfil your order, including taking payment and arranging delivery.
  • Provide customer support, including pre-sales draw-weight advice and returns.
  • Send transactional emails: confirmations, dispatch notices, return updates.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
  • Comply with our legal obligations, including tax, consumer law, and dispute resolution.
  • With your opt-in consent, send our newsletter with setup tips, kit guides and product news. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email.
  • Improve the website and our products through aggregate, de-identified usage analysis.

4. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the parties that help us run the store, and only to the extent they need it:

  • Carriers that deliver your order within Australia, using your name, address, phone, and email so they can update you about delivery.
  • Payment processors who take card payments on a secure, PCI-compliant platform.
  • Hosting, email and analytics providers that store our data and run the website and customer support tools.
  • Professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, where strictly required for tax, legal or compliance purposes.
  • Government and regulators where we are legally required to disclose information, for example in response to a valid law-enforcement request.

5. International transfers

Because Archeryline operates from China and uses international shipping carriers, payment providers and cloud services, your personal information will be transferred to and stored in countries outside Australia, including China and the country in which our service providers are based.

Where we transfer personal information outside Australia, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles it in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

6. Cookies & similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential store functions and measurement:

  • Essential cookies that make the website work, such as remembering items you have looked at, securing your session, and processing checkout.
  • Basic operational logs that help us keep the website secure and diagnose checkout or page errors.
  • Google Tag Manager, analytics and advertising measurement tags that help us understand page views, product interest, add-to-cart actions, checkout starts and completed-order value. These tools may use cookies or similar identifiers.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect analytics accuracy, advertising measurement and, for essential cookies, whether checkout works correctly.

7. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it to provide our services and to meet legal obligations:

  • Order records: 7 years from the date of the order, to comply with Australian tax-record requirements.
  • Support correspondence: up to 3 years from the last interaction.
  • Newsletter list: until you unsubscribe, at which point your email is removed from active mailings within 7 days.
  • Website analytics: aggregated, de-identified data is kept for up to 26 months.

Under the Australian Privacy Act you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you (APP 12).
  • Correct information that is inaccurate, out-of-date, incomplete or misleading (APP 13).
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
