F167 Installation Videos

F167 Setup, Draw Weight, and Hand Guide

The F167 is an ILF take-down recurve bow. The limbs seat into the ILF pockets on the riser, which lets you replace limbs later as your strength and shooting form improve. One limb is marked U for upper, and the other is marked L for lower. It ships unstrung to protect the limbs during delivery.

  • Use the bow stringer to string the bow safely.
  • Follow the setup guide before assembling or stringing the bow.
  • Available in right-hand and left-hand options.
  • Choose hand by dominant eye, not only by the hand you write with.
  • Available draw weights: 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, and 40 lb.
  • First-time adults should usually start at 24 or 28 lb.
  • Choose 20 lb for the lightest start, smaller-framed adults, teens, or anyone unsure.
  • Choose 32 lb only if you already have strength, control, or prior shooting practice.
  • 36 and 40 lb are not recommended as first-bow weights.
  • The ILF design lets you move to heavier limbs later instead of replacing the whole bow.
  • Never dry-fire the bow. Use only in a safe range or controlled target area.

Packed by Hand, One Piece at a Time

Your order is packed carefully so it can travel safely to Australia. The riser is wrapped first, then each limb is wrapped on its own so nothing rubs, shifts, or marks during shipping.

  • Riser protected with padded wrap.
  • Each limb wrapped separately.
  • Bowstring coiled and bagged to prevent tangling.
  • Stringer, arrow rest, arm guard, and finger tab packed individually.
  • Padding is added so items stay snug inside the box.
  • Sealed for the long trip across the sea.
