1. About these terms
These Terms of Sale (“Terms”) apply to every order you place on archeryline.com (“the website”, “we”, “us”, “Archeryline”). By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms together with our Shipping Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy and Privacy Policy.
Archeryline is the trading name used for this storefront. The website is operated by 云启昶达(青岛)互联科技有限责任公司 (Yunqi Changda (Qingdao) Internet Technology Co., Ltd.), a China-based online retailer that ships archery equipment to customers in Australia.
2. Who can buy from us
By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract under the laws of your Australian state or territory.
Archeryline recurve bows can be used by archers under 18, but the purchaser, payer and person receiving the parcel must be an adult. If you are buying for a young archer, the order must be placed by a parent or legal guardian.
3. Intended use of our products
All takedown recurve bow sets and included setup components sold on this website are supplied for recreational target archery practice at appropriate ranges and clubs.
We do not supply, recommend, or support the use of our products for:
- Hunting of any animal. We do not sell broadheads, mechanical hunting points or hunting accessories.
- Use against people or property.
- Any unlawful purpose.
- Modification beyond standard limb / string / accessory replacement, such as drilling, re-stringing for higher-than-rated draw weights, or fitting hunting-style sights.
You are responsible for complying with all applicable Australian Commonwealth, state and territory laws regarding the ownership, transport and use of archery equipment, and for using the equipment safely.
4. Orders & acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept that offer when we send you an order confirmation by email. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch if:
- The product or colour you ordered is out of stock.
- There is a pricing or description error on the website.
- We are unable to verify your delivery address or contact details.
- We reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised payment activity.
If we cancel before dispatch, we refund any amount you have paid in full within 5 business days.
5. Pricing & payment
All prices on the website are listed in Australian dollars (AUD). There are no additional shipping fees, packaging fees, handling fees or checkout surcharges added by Archeryline for orders delivered within Australia.
Payment is taken in full at the time you place your order, through the payment provider shown at checkout. Your card details are processed by the payment provider – Archeryline does not see or store full card numbers. See our Privacy Policy for details on how payment information is handled.
6. Shipping, risk & title
We ship Australia-wide on the timelines set out in our Shipping Policy. Title to the goods passes to you when we dispatch them. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the carrier marks the order as delivered, except where faulty or transit-damaged items are handled under our Returns & Refunds Policy.
7. Returns, refunds & warranties
Our Returns & Refunds Policy applies to every order and forms part of these Terms. It covers 30-day returns on unused items in their original packaging, faulty or transit-damaged items, defects, refunds, and your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Safety & assumption of risk
Archery is a sport that involves a risk of injury. By purchasing from Archeryline you acknowledge that:
- You will read the setup and safety guidance provided with the equipment.
- You will only shoot at an appropriate range, club or backstop.
- You will use a bow stringer when bracing or unbracing the bow.
- You will not dry-fire the bow, exceed its rated draw weight or modify it.
- You will supervise any minor using the equipment and ensure they understand the safety rules.
9. Intellectual property
All content on archeryline.com – including product photography, copy, guides, comparison tables and the “Archeryline” name and logo – is owned by 云启昶达(青岛)互联科技有限责任公司 or its licensors and is protected by Australian and international copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, redistribute or use this content commercially without our written permission.
10. Warranties & disclaimers
Other than the guarantees that apply under the Australian Consumer Law and any express warranty we provide, we make no further warranties about the website or the products. In particular, advice given on guide pages, blog posts and other editorial content is general in nature and is not a substitute for tuition from a qualified archery coach.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law and subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with an order is limited, at our option, to (i) replacing the goods, (ii) repairing the goods, or (iii) refunding the price you paid for the goods. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of competition entry fees, club fees, travel costs or training time.
12. Events outside our control
We are not liable for delays or failures to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, carrier disruption, customs delays, industrial action, public-health restrictions and changes in law. Where such an event materially affects your order we will contact you with the options available.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia that apply there. You and Archeryline submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the courts that hear appeals from them.
